Legal and disclaimers

Not veterinary advice. Bestiepedia is an information site. The tools give estimates from published veterinary guidelines; they don’t diagnose, don’t prescribe and don’t replace a visit. Every pet is different: for anything about your pet’s health, ask your vet. In an emergency, call your vet or an emergency vet right away.

No liability. I take no responsibility for how the information on this site is used. I check every number against its source and write the date I checked it, but sources change: if you find a mistake, write to me.

Sources. Texts are written in my own words; numbers and facts come from the sources listed on each page and on Sources and method. Names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Affiliate links. On the Italian pages there are Amazon links: as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. They never appear on emergency or danger pages.

Who runs the site. Bestiepedia is a personal site by Ciro Simone Irmici. For anything, write to simoneirmici94@gmail.com.

Photos and fonts. The authors and licenses of the photos, photo by photo, are on Sources and method. The fonts (Unbounded and Rubik) are under the SIL Open Font License.
